Federal Student Loans with Bad Credit
Here's good news for students with credit problems. Any student with enough financial need can qualify for a federal Perkins Loan or Stafford Loan, regardless of credit history. These direct loans are borrowed from the U.S. Department of Education, not from a bank, so they're guaranteed by the U.S. government.
